Balmain 2
The existing house, while charming, has begun to show its age and could benefit from a more open, light-filled layout. The client, who values a spacious and well-appointed kitchen, envisioned a more modern and comfortable living space that would better reflect their needs and preferences. Ballast Point embraced this vision by thoughtfully redesigning the kitchen area, introducing a kitchen island to subtly define the boundary between the kitchen and dining spaces. This feature enhances both the flow and functionality of the home, creating a more inviting and organised atmosphere.
The warm and clean material palette, featuring a curved timber ceiling, creates a welcoming ambience without overwhelming the space with excessive detail or ornamentation. In bringing these elements together, Ballast Point has crafted a home that blends modern comfort with timeless simplicity, ensuring a harmonious living environment for client's future home.
