What is included in the Pre-Construction Documentation Assessment?

The assessment covers a full review of your architectural documentation — including DA, CDC or Construction Certificate plans — across buildability, services coordination, construction detailing, risk management and document completeness. You will receive a structured findings report alongside preliminary programme and cost advice.

Do I need to have approved plans to proceed?

Not necessarily. While the assessment is most valuable at DA, CDC or Construction Certificate stage, we can also engage during design development if you would like early builder input to inform your documentation before lodgement.

How does Ballast Point approach design intent during construction?

As an integrated design and construction practice, protecting design intent is central to how we build. Our site team is trained to read architectural documentation carefully, communicate proactively on RFIs and variations, and manage subcontractors to the standard the design requires.
